Maybe the existence of Najimi Ajimu was still known. The 13-Party Arc and Kumagawa Incident still had minimal buildup and foreshadowing, but that was it. And after the Kumagwaw Incident arc, there was no build-up either. It didn't have any dynamics or any tension, it's just empty. Otherwise, the manga has been almost torture for the most part. Everything was shown and combined in this epilogue, time skip, characters, relationships, personalities, and the 100 flowers event was more profound than you would think. Especially by its comedy/shounen standards. the manga had one of the best epilogues I have ever seen. There were many interesting strategy duels that, while stupid, had a greater level of creativity.ģ. Not to mention that Kumagawa was the best one-sided character in the whole manga anyway and TOO good for this manga.Ģ) The detail of his explanations, games, and the associated characters and their approaches. This he has to my surprise but not badly implemented, even if it is pulled down by the non-existent Atmosphere and the poor writing. Some interesting self-reflections and a decent amount of character conflict and perspective. the development of the characters after the Kumagawa arc, which you could notice more clearly until the end. However, I have to give the author credit for three things that I liked.

If you're looking for something that has no story whatsoever, is completely dull and stupid in content, full of plot holes, plot armor without end, bad satire, and some of the worst and most irrelevant shounen fighting ever, that this manga is for you! Meanwhile, Aso, unsure of what competiton to pick, leaves the choice to Shiranui.Indeed, this is a bizarre manga and I rarely have such a split opinion about anything I read. Medaka once again assumes the better of the three gold digger swimmers, and swears to reform them such that they'll give everything they earn to charity, to which Tanegashima exclaims that they'll make her sink into despair. Zenkichi asks Tanegashima if money is all he thinks about, to which he gives out the idiom "money makes the world go round" while laughing maniacally, before realizing that Medaka is behind him, mimicking him and calling him pathetic. As Zenkichi notes the unfairness of letting the swim team participate, Tanegashima appears and taunts the student council, reminding them of how much they're owed. Zenkichi notes the swim team's lead, asking Akune what the final competition was, the latter explaining that they left Aso to decide the final competition for the sake of fairness.
Kikaijima ends up in first place with thirteen eels, while Nabeshima catches nine. The following match is a solo eel catching competiton, placed in order to intentionally give the student council a handicap thanks to Medaka repelling animals. At this, Mogana Kikaijima approaches them and comments that, while she never expected her to understand what they're thinking, she'll tell them what they want to do, their objective being to make a pool filled with money and swimming in it all day. When Medaka asks if she knows them, Nabeshima explains that their leader, Umumichi Yakushima, is the same class as her, and calls him a different kind of genius than Medaka or Akune, an all-rounder that can perform any type of swimming, though she also says that she can never understand what he's thinking or what he wants to do. She then brings up the swim team, calling them "bad guys". Nabeshima calls out to Medaka, noting that they're both sitting the race out, letting their teammates compete this time.
Hansode Shiranui, her fellow commentator, says that, while the track team should normally have the advantage, she's still betting on either the swim team or the student council. Tanzaku Aso announces the second match of the event, a three legged race where pairs must swim to the end of the pool with their ankles tied together.
